hello gorgeous

smile. for me, would you? you see, your smile, it does more than just light up the room. it warms my heart and rids the room of the dark shadows that frighten me so.

your smile fixes it all. it is the sun that provides the light and warmth and energy without which i wouldn’t be able to go on. it lights up your face, and mine in turn.

i just want you to know that when you smile, nothing can be wrong. so, smile, often, without apprehension. you are the most beautiful creature i’ve ever seen… even moreso when i can see those crescent lips upturned, and those kind eyes glistening.

pump, pump

i can see the rhythm of your heart pumping through the blue thread veins so easily seen from outside your paper thin skin. with every beat, my love for you grows; for every tiny cell traveling through your magnificent body, i fall in love with you infinitely more. an eternally, infinitely expanding adoration is what i promise to you forever. tangled heartstrings and tangled limbs, the thought of us together is just the very best thing.

When confronted with a perma-smiler, I would vacillate rapidly between suspicion and pity.

Decide whether you want to be liked or admired. Decide if fitting in is more important than finding out what you’re doing here. Believe in kissing.”

YAR Word of the Week

So, dear birds and babies, starting next Sunday, we’re going to have a weekly piece here at YAR. We’re calling it the ‘YAR Word of the Week,’ and it will go a little something like this.

Each week, we’re going to post a positive word, and its dictionary definition. It will be your MISSION to keep this word in your conscious mind all week long, and use it to describe things in your life.

We have chosen Sunday for a very specific reason: it’s the day before the oft dreaded Monday, the start to the work &/or school week for so very many people. Monday can be sluggish and you wish for the weekend. Monday is a tough day… which makes it the perfect day to make optimism a priority. Manifest positivity in your days… a word a week is a small start, we know, but a little can go a long way.

We’ll give you the word, and we’ll use it in a sentence, and then what we would love for you to do, is to respond to the post using the word in a sentence of your own, using it to describe some aspect of your life. Share that love with us and all of the other readers! Use the word all week long to remind yourself of the positive energy that surrounds you, and make that energy grow by feeding it with your good, appreciative thoughts.

We are all human and that being the case, we are all so very blessed. One of our many blessings is the ability to appreciate beauty. How lucky we are to be able to appreciate aesthetics, and to revel in the glory of beautiful things and beautiful people.
As you walked down the street, did that woman turn your head? Tell her so! Tell her that she looks stunning. Did that boy catch your glance? Tell him how handsome he is.
Don’t wait for a reaction, don’t wait for a response. Continue on your way, and enjoy the adrenaline rush that comes from saying exactly what you’re thinking, and enjoy knowing that you’ve brightened someone’s day by paying them a genuine compliment.
We can all make this world a little brighter by putting our positivity out there! Don’t bottle it up; let out all of those good thoughts and feelings out there, and watch those smiles grow bigger and bolder every day. Building confidence isn’t done overnight, but build your own, and help others as well, and just watch your love spread, spread, spread.
